Do you have a Will? Find out why parents need one and how to go about it
Guardianship and other important factors to consider when writing a Will.
Do you have a Will? This isn’t something I ever thought about until my husband and I had our first child. The inevitable question ‘what if?’ came up and made us realise the importance of putting everything in place so our child (and any future siblings) would be protected and looked after even if the worst was to happen. We didn’t want to leave important decisions such as guardianship and financial security to chance.
Many people don’t realise that Wills are very important in making sure your wishes are followed through. You don’t need to be elderly or very wealthy to have one. In my opinion, Wills are legal peace of mind for parents. I’m certainly relieved we took the time to get one to protect both our children.
