Parks, attractions and other facilities now open in Poole, Bournemouth and the rest of Dorset
Following the latest update by the UK Government on the COVID-19 pandemic, many local facilities and attractions are re-opening their doors. Find here a list of services that have now resumed and further important information. Updated daily.

Parking facilities: Most car parks are now open, except for Undercliff Drive in Bournemouth. Find more details, including how to pay here.
Public toilets: Most toilet facilities are now open, mostly at the seafront and some at local parks, with enhanced cleaning procedures. Find more information here.
Golf courses, mini-golf, tennis courts, athletic tracks, and skate parks: Now open. Find more information here.
Beaches: These have been open all along but be aware there are no lifeguards available at the moment. You can find more information here.
Playgrounds and outdoor gyms: These remain closed. We’ll update in due course.
Upton Country Park: It was only accessible for pedestrians before. The car park is now open. Other services, including safe catering, and dog wash, will also be available from Saturday 16th May. Find more here.
Avon Tyrell: Remains closed.
National Trust Properties: (Including Corfe Castle, Brownsea Island, etc.) Some car parks will begin to reopen from Wednesday 13th May, but not pay-for-entry facilities, including houses and gardens. Not all car parks will open immediately, so make sure you check with each location before attending. Find the latest updates here.
Moors Valley: The park, car park and all facilities remain closed. We’ll update again as soon as we know of any changes.
Poole Park: The current restrictions to all vehicles, other than construction vehicles, remain in place. Check here for more details.
Sopley Farm: Aiming to open on 23rd May. We’ll update in due course.
Adventure Wonderland: The park will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park: Remains closed until further notice.
Brother’s Farm (PYO Wimborne): Expected to open in July.
Paulton’s Park: Remains closed until further notice.
Please note many facilities haven’t made any announcements at the time of publishing this blog. We’ll monitor every day Monday to Friday and update accordingly.
